My first Gertie Gecko Heat Pack

Yay for school holidays!  No school lunches to make or school drop off & pick up to do = more sewing time for me :).

Here is my first attempt at Gertie Gecko Heat Pack using Funky Friends Factory’s pattern.  The gecko was really easy to sew up except I hit a snag with the eyes using cotton knit fabric.  Will have to get some white fleece for my next one.  Here is my Gertie Gecko, she is really shy about her eyes.

My Gertie Gecko was made using Funky Friends Factory’s pattern (found here) with corduroy fabric and filled with pearl barley.  The eyes were done with scrap white knit fabric filled with poly-fill.
