My 4yo daughter’s artwork

My 4yo daughter wanted to make a gift for her Kindy teacher.  From a friend’s suggestion, we got a small canvas and my daughter painted it  all over with paint we had available.  I think next time I will try to get a better range of colours so there will be a nice rainbow effect.  She then used a black Artline permanent marker to draw a sun, 3 flowers and 3 butterflies.   Besides waiting for the paint to dry, this activity was quick and easy for a 4yo child to do.

Here is the resulting artwork.  I love it and so does her Kindy teacher :).

I love this idea and will be doing this again with my 6yo daughter for her Grade 1 teacher :).

 

My 4yo daughter also drew an artwork for a dinner plate.  I can not wait to see how it turns out.  I am also going to hand embroider her plate artwork for her bedroom.
